Our Story

Our story begins in the early 90s on a new construction site for a well-known petrochemical refinery. During this time, we gained invaluable experience and were introduced to a safety culture that has remained a core value throughout the years.
Having worked on multiple complex projects both nationwide and internationally, we have developed a strong commitment to our craft in the electrical industry. Our passion for this work drives us to achieve great satisfaction upon project completion, especially when those projects are delivered with an outstanding safety record, on time, and with the highest quality standards. President And Chief Executive Officer

Angie Alonzo is the co-founder, Chief Executive Officer, and President of J-PEX Solutions. With a remarkable career that defies convention, Angie has proven to be a trailblazer in the electrical construction industry. Her entrepreneurial journey is characterized by her relentless drive and determination, having successfully built multiple companies from the ground up.
Angie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to J-PEX Solutions, combining her strategic vision with hands-on experience in business development, operations, and leadership. Jay Alonzo

Chief Commerical Officer

Jay Alonzo is the co-founder of J-PEX Solutions, where he plays a pivotal role in business development and ensures the successful execution of the company's goals. With over 12 years of experience in the electrical and instrumentation industries, Jay began his professional journey at Ardent Inc. and has advanced to become a master electrician, earning multiple awards and recognition for his exceptional quality—his most shining attribute.

His impressive career includes tenures at renowned companies such as Jacobs Engineering and Nova Group, where he consistently received accolades for outstanding project delivery. Jay holds a variety of industry certifications, including electrical certifications in several states.

As a dedicated leader and expert in his field, Jay is committed to driving J-PEX Solutions to new heights, fostering innovation, safety, and excellence within the team and across all projects.

Jairo Alonzo

Chief Operating Officer

Jairo Alonzo began his career in the early 90s, working in an industrial environment in Long Beach, California, with Brown and Root. He spent three years at the same petrochemical refinery before continuing with Jacobs Engineering for 12 years. Throughout his tenure, he moved up the ranks, deeply integrating the Beyond Zero Safety Culture into his work, which continues to uphold his principles on every project he undertakes.

Jairo has received multiple awards from recognized corporations for his commitment to safety and quality. His expertise in managing complex projects, combined with his ability to develop solutions in challenging environments, has established him as a leader in ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards. His dedication to client satisfaction drives him to maintain the utmost integrity and excellence in all his endeavors.

Jessica Calvillo

VP Of Operations

Jessica Calvillo is a first-generation Mexican American whose thriving career started in 2012 when she began to work at Northrup Grumman, an aerospace and defense company. During her 6 years tenure at NGAS, Jessica worked on several high-profile projects such as NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).

Jessica acquired various valuable skills in the quality, manufacturing and production departments which aided her transition from aerospace to construction. Most recently, Jessica worked on a multiyear project converting a petroleum refinery into a biodegradable renewable energy plant.

Today Jessica is the VP of Operation for J-Pex Solutions. Through innovative electrical construction, J-Pex Solutions is leading the energy construction industry to a more sustainable future.

Sandra Mancio

Contracts/Projects Administrator

Sandra Mancio is from Los Angeles but spent her formative years in Guatemala. Upon returning to her home country, she anticipated advancing her career in accounting. However, life led her down an unexpected path into the electrical field, starting as an Electrical Apprentice in the petrochemical industry. Since then, she has gained a wealth of experience across various sectors, including gas plants and mining operations, seamlessly integrating her skills in electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical disciplines.
A passionate traveler and avid reader, Sandra finds joy in music, sunsets, and cherished moments spent on the patio with her family. She believes in lifelong learning and strives to discover something new every day, understanding that knowledge can be a powerful asset when least expected.
Sandra is driven to cultivate this mindset within her professional role at J-PEX Solutions, committing herself to continuous growth alongside the team. As she often reflects, “Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.” This ethos fuels her dedication to excellence and resilience in all endeavors.
